Parafrugell
It is the most populous city of the Baix Emporda, with 20.500 inhabitants. Popularly known by the name "Peix fregit", ie, "fried fish", and is a major tourist center. The town of Palafrugell has added several residential areas, which are: Llofriu, Calella, Tamariu and Llafranch.
